This year a couple of interesting things happened while filing my taxes.
- My federal withholding was exactly the same as the amount of tax I owed. Therefore once again I owed nothing, barely.
- In 14 or so years of paying taxes, this is the first time I ever had last year’s tax return handy, and didn’t have to back calculate or guess last year’s adjusted gross income so I could file electronically.
